Why hello there! Before I delve too deeply into this world of blogging, I’d like to provide some background on myself. I created this blog as a creative outlet for all the ideas and inspiration that course through my head, whether it is pertaining to travel, lifestyle, productivity, or food. I am passionate about writing and graphic design and would love the opportunity to continually share inspiration and advice with you. But first, let’s start with 25 questions to help you get to know me a little better:

How old are you?

Where are you from?

Omaha, Nebraska // Most of, NOT ALL, of Nebraska is covered with cornfields. I grew up in Omaha, which is the biggest city in Nebraska. So, contrary to popular belief, I did NOT live on a farm or drive a tractor to school.

Where do you live?

I just moved to the city of Chicago for college // It has definitely been a huge change and adjustment, but I look forward to documenting my experiences on this blog.

What are some of your hobbies?

traveling, reading, baking, photography, graphic design

How many countries have you visited?

5 // England, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland

Do you speak another language?

sort of // I have been taking Spanish classes pretty much since kindergarten, and I am going to continue pursuing Spanish as a minor in college. One of my dreams is to visit Spain and be able to speak fluently.

How tall are you?

5’9”

What is one thing you can’t live without?

my planner // I am an incredibly organized person, I write everything down, and I love checking things off to-do lists. I literally do not think I could function without it.

Are you a morning or a night person?

morning //  I find I am most productive in the morning, but I surprisingly used to be a night person for a while.

What is your favorite store to shop at?

H&M //  I find it impossible to go into that store and not find at least one thing I love. I appreciate the versatility of their selection and how affordable the items are. I personally see it as the upscale, nicer-quality version of Forever 21.

What app do you use most?

What is your favorite movie?

The Intern // This movie has Anne Hathaway and Robert de Niro, and I love it so much because it is the perfect combination of everything I look for in movies: it’s funny, there’s some romance involved, but most importantly, I love the positive message it gives about women entrepreneurs in society today.

What would you change about yourself if you could?

I am too much of a perfectionist // This attribute usually causes me a great deal of stress, so I am working on better controlling my perfectionism.

What was your favorite subject in high school?

newspaper // I have always loved to write, so naturally this appealed to me. My newspaper class also put together a literary magazine each quarter, which is where I discovered my love of fonts and graphic design.

What sports have you played?

basketball and volleyball // In high school, I played basketball all four years and volleyball while I was a freshman and sophomore.

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite dessert?

cheesecake // My favorite thing to bake, however, is cupcakes.

What is on top of your bucket list?

to one day visit all Seven Wonders of the World

Do you collect anything?

yes, charms //  I have a charm bracelet, so everywhere I travel I get a charm to commemorate that specific place.

What is your favorite holiday?

definitely Christmas

What is your biggest pet peeve?

stores with bells on their doors that ring when you enter // I don’t know, something about having everybody turn to look at you when you walk in just makes me slightly annoyed and uncomfortable.
